As I was giving Kevin the daily drop-off report today we both reflected on the fact that everyone seems really happy. We made a mental note to mark the occasion when everyone--Samuel, Oliver, Jennette & Kevin--are all very happy with school and our routine!
Samuel and Oliver have both been in ridiculously happy moods the last few weeks. They both get up with smiles, eat a huge amount for breakfast, get dressed (Oliver occasionally still has his T-shirt issue but it is getting better) and head off to school. On the way to school they chat together about what they are going to do and who they are going to see. Once we get there they both practically run in and start playing. We actually have to go track them down to get good-bye kisses.
I'll just say it is so nice for now.
Full Disclose: This does not mean that there are not tears, hitting and some yelling in our house upon occasion. That still exists. It is not 24hr bliss.
