Backyard Jungle Gym

Saturday we spent the day disassembling and then reassembling a play structure. My sister was interested in getting rid of her play structure so we gladly jumped on the opportunity to take it off her hands. We numbered every bolt and then put them all in individual ziplock baggies. With the help of Ron & Roxanne (who mainly kept Samuel & Oliver occupied), we put the structure back together number by number.

It still needs to be sanded and stained as well as have the swings and monkey bars attached. But, Samuel seems to be happy with the ladder and slide. Unfortunately, right now it is in the middle of our backyard on our deck. We do have a vision of redoing our backyard--we'll hope having a play structure in the middle of our deck will move us towards action!

At this point, Samuel is just giddy to have a Jungle Gym (his words) in his backyard. While he loves to go down the slide, he constantly talks about the day when Oliver will be able to join him!
