I was reviewing last year's blog about Easter. Funny that we had a very similar experience this year--fascination with the story of Jesus' death, confusion about how the Easter bunny and Jesus fit together, coloring eggs a lovely shade of brown, and battling yet another random childhood illness.
Coloring Easter Eggs
Samuel and Oliver both enjoyed coloring eggs. Samuel did pretty good at keeping the colors separate. Oliver, on the other hand, spent the entire time taking spoonfulls of one color and adding it to another color. We did end up with some pretty eggs.
Easter Egg Hunts
Samuel participated in four official egg hunts with numerous "unofficial" hunts around our house. They had an egg hunt at school. Samuel was so excited he requested to go to school on his day off. He did think the hunt was rather easy but talked about it for several days.
