The Claassen household is officially diaper free! Oliver is potty trained and there is no turning back. Apparently while at G&G Claassen's he didn't have a swim diaper. They told him he had to go pee in the potty. He said no problem, walked into the bathroom and proceeded to pee in the potty. He refused to wear a diaper after that declaring himself potty-trained!
Oliver returned home the night before we left for Yosemite--not my ideal time to potty-train but who plans these things. Apparently when we changed Samuel from a car seat to a booster seat I said that booster seats were for boys who went pee-pee in the potty. Well, Oliver came home expecting a booster seat. He actually won't let us leave for Yosemite without a booster seat. Luckily he is big enough for the booster and we could borrow Samuel's from our other car. So, now we are both diaper free and carseat free!
Oliver did great in Yosemite with only one pee accident. Unfortunately, he hadn't mastered pooping so he used a diaper for the 2 times he went the entire week!
Upon returning home we set up a sticker chart for poop thinking this was going to be a bigger deal. We set the target at 5 times (assuming this would take a week). Well, within 24 hours of the chart he had pooped 5 times all in the potty. He got a toy and we threw out all the diapers!
